India Mission:
Children's Home - Bible School - Caring for the Lepers
India WINGS Children's Home Ministry

Our mission efforts are focused in the providence of Andhra Pradesh in the city of Ongole located close to the Bay of Bengal in southeast India. The mission efforts Grace Chapel supports include caring for orphaned and disadvantaged children living in our WINGS Children’s Home, operating the WINGS Bible School that both trains and equips individuals for ministry through
a two year Bible program, and providing financial support for a number of Gospel preachers.
Since 2006, members of Grace Chapel have led mission-minded teams of people to India to work with both the children of the WINGS Children’s Home and have conducted a number of Gospel meetings throughout this area. God continues to bless these efforts and we are excited about the next steps God is collectively encouraging our membership at Grace Chapel to take. If you would like to learn more about our mission efforts in India please follow this link at www.wingsindia.org

The work in India is overseen locally by Ramakrishna
Chintapalli, his family, and the elders of the Ongole Church of Christ.
India WINGS Bible School Ministry

WINGS Bible School both trains and equips individuals for ministry through a two year Bible program, and providing financial support for a number of Gospel preachers. The WINGS Bible School (WBS) began in 2007 with an initial class of 25 students. Since 2007, each January a new class of 25 students starts the two year program. In 2008, the WBS received accreditation from the India government and in July of 2009 our first group of students graduated. In July 2012, our fourth class of WINGS Bible School student’s graduates making our total number of WBS graduates 100.
As a result of the efforts of the preacher students of WBS a number of evangelistic doors have opened in India. During 2012, three mission trips are planned that will have an evangelistic focus into new areas of India. Through the ongoing evangelistic work of these preachers, ten new congregations have been planted since 2009 and over 1300 new brothers and sisters have been baptized.
India Lepers Ministry
The immediate project is to provide food, clothing and medical needs to the 33 now worshiping in Malli's congregation as he helps to supply their spiritual needs. (Malli also has leprosy.) They need our compassion and care.
For physical needs, these men and women beg for food every day. Many of these people sleep in the leper ward of the hospital; others live on the street. They struggle from day to day just to survive! Leprosy is not transferable now. If treatment begins early, people afflicted with leprosy can be treated and cured. After the illness has Longer
illnesses can only be stabilized and relieved without cure.
In addition, we have also been able to provide food, clothing, and supplies to a second leper colony located in Veetapalem which is about 40 miles from Ongole, India.
Basic needs can be supplied for $1 a day in India!!!
