Welcome to the Nursery Program
(Newborns - Pre-K2)

Our Goal

Our goal is to partner with parents to help raise up the next generation to have a thriving relationship with Jesus.

Nursery Small Groups
(designed not to exceed 12 children per group)

Infants: newborns - beginning to crawl
Crawlers/Walkers: crawlers - 18 months
Pre-K1: 18 months - turning 2 years old
Pre-K2: 2 years old - turning 3 years old

Children move up to the next level at the beginning of a new quarter once they have reached the next level's requirements. Quarters begin Mar, Jun, Sep and Dec.

Curriculum

The First Look curriculum is designed to teach one key truth every month. Lessons and activities are designed to engage all 5 senses. The goal of First Look is for children to know before the age of 5 that: God made meGod loves meJesus wants to be my friend forever!

Bringing Home the Message

First Look believes, "what happens at home is more important than what happens at church", and so does GCCM!

We provide Small Talk Cards, a  First Look monthly resource for parents that gives an overview of the Bible Stories learned each week, activities, and discussion topics to encourage learning at home.

Volunteers

Each room is staffed by GCCM approved volunteers. Please consider Becoming a Volunteer in the Nursery program.  It can go a long way in helping your child have positive feelings about God and it also enables you to see more directly what your child is learning.
